History

Founded in 2003, Rumson Capital LP is an independent life settlement company headquartered in suburban Philadelphia that offers unique services to those seeking to maximize their financial assets.

The life settlement industry traces its beginnings to the 1980s. Today, the industry is two-fold: a life settlement is typically used by seniors over the age of 70 to optimize the value of their investments, and a viatical settlement (the sale of a life insurance policy of an individual suffering from a terminal illness) is used by someone with a life expectancy of two years or less.
