Robert E. Meyer
President

As a founding partner of Rumson Capital LP, Robert’s primary responsibilities include compliance, licensing, and marketing for the company. His legal background spans more than 20 years, including establishing his own law practice specializing in insurance, personal estate matters and real estate. He was also a senior partner at Cozen and O’Connor in Philadelphia. Robert holds licenses as a Viatical Life Settlement Broker in Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Utah, and Virginia. He is also a member of the American and Montgomery County Bar Associations, and is admitted to practice before the bars in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New York. Robert is a resident Life and Fixed Annuity producer in Pennsylvania and holds non-resident Life Producer licenses in a dozen other states.

Todd P. Shelbaugh
Executive Vice President

Todd joined Rumson Capital LP in 2008. Todd’s responsibilities include office management, provider, and client relationships. With nearly twenty years of industry experience, Todd has helped hundreds of clients re-examine and redesign their estate plans in conjunction with their professional advisors and has become a specialist in the areas of Life Settlements and Premium Financing Strategies. Previously Todd was a Vice President at National Wealth Advisors, Inc., where he also hosted public educational seminars in the Southwest FL area on estate planning and tax reduction techniques as well as the ever-changing climate of the insurance industry. A Florida native, he graduated from Florida Southern College with dual degrees in Economics and Human resource management.

Robert L. Daly
Vice President, Life Settlements

Robert joined Rumson Capital LP when it was established in 2004. His main responsibilities include the day-to-day management of various life settlement cases, and assisting in business development. Previously, Robert worked for nearly 13 years in the insurance industry, serving as an account executive for Independence Blue Cross. He also gained vast experience in financial services as an account executive for Dean Witter and Alex Brown. Robert is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and holds lines of authority in Life and Fixed Annuities, Accident & Health, and Casualty & Allied Lines.

David J. Wright, J.D.
Vice President, Marketing

David joined Rumson Capital LP in 2006. David is responsible for developing Life Settlement business on a National level. He participates in trade shows and conventions, and travels extensively to maintain a high level of contact with our producers. Previously, David was a Principal at Business Underwriters Associates, a Brokerage General Agency in Akron, Ohio. While there, he served on the Membership Committee for NAILBA, a prominent industry trade organization. David holds his bachelor’s degree in English from Penn State University as well as a Law Degree from The Ohio State College of Law, where he is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio. David also holds his Securities License as well as Licenses for Life and Annuities in several states.

Richard J. Mandel
Director of Premium Financing

Rick joined Rumson in 2005, charged with the responsibility to organize and manage the premium financing activity for the firm. Today, he provides services to many general agents and producers looking to find the best premium finance program for their clients. With extensive knowledge of the variety of programs and lenders, his value-add services help his clients qualify and close cases quicker with fewer problems. His extensive knowledge of life insurance comes from his days as a producer with a large general agency and Principal Life, as well as Commerce Capital Markets. Richard hold licenses in Life and Health in several states, and holds a Series 7 NASD registration.

Joseph P. Tilelli
Senior Account Executive

Joseph joined Rumson Capital LP 2007. Joseph is responsible for managing Life Settlement cases, establishing new systems for analyzing and tracking data, assisting in company marketing efforts and helping develop new sources of institutional purchasers. Joseph comes to us with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration as well as 8 years of experience in life settlement market place. Having served as the Managing Director for Senior Settlements, LLC, Joseph is a pioneer in the institutional funding of Life Settlements. Joseph is a resident Life and Fixed Annuity producer in New Jersey and holds non-resident Life Producer licenses in other states.
